PROVIDING FALSE NAME LEADS TO ARREST
(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) On Thursday November 22, 2012 at approximately 2:28am, County of Wellington OPP officers were conducting RIDE spot checks on Highway 6 south at College Ave west, outside of Guelph. At this time and location, officers spoke with the driver of a 2011 Honda.

The officers became suspicious of the male, who was unable to provide his driver's licence. Investigation revealed the male driver provided police with a false name. Further investigation revealed the female passenger was in possession of a small quantity of marijuana.

Jordan Mosely, age 24 of Pickering On, has been charged with Obstruct Police, Personation with Intent and Breach of Probation, all contrary to the Criminal Code, as well as Drive No Licence, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act. He was released on an Appearance Notice with a Guelph court date of December 21, 2012 to answer to the charges.

Sheleeza Hinds, age 29 of Ajax On, has been charged with Possession of Marijuana, contrary to the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act. She was released on an Appearance Notice with a Guelph court date of December 18, 2012 to answer to the charges.

Impaired Driver
(Centre Wellington, ON) On November 23, 2012 at 2:52am, County of Wellington OPP officers had occasion to stop a 1998 Ford pickup truck on Highway 6 south and Wellington St west, Guelph for a Highway traffic Act offence. The male driver showed signs of alcohol consumption, and was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

Patrick Connolly, age 28 of Laird Township has been charged with Over 80mgs, contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on January 8 2013 to answer to the charge.

IMPAIRED DRIVER
(CENTRE WELLINGTON, ON) On November 23, 2012 at 3:50am, County of Wellington OPP officers stopped a 2005 Nissan driving erratically on Stone Road, in the City of Guelph. The male driver was spoken to and showed signs of impairment. He was administered a Roadside Screening Device test which resulted in a fail.

Joshua Van Dyk, age 26 of Woodstock has been charged with Over 80 mgs contrary to the Criminal Code. He is scheduled to appear in Guelph court on December 21 2012 to answer to the charge.
