Guelph Police Report Feb. 19, 2020

Sometime between 7:30pm and 9:30pm on February 18th, 2020, a black 2005 GMX Sierra pickup truck was taken from the parking lot of a commercial plaza located near the intersection of Clair Road East and Gordon Street in the City of Guelph.

On February 18th, 2020, at 10:15pm, a red 2019 Ford 250 was taken from out front of a store located near the intersection of Wellington Street West and Imperial Road South in the City of Guelph. The vehicle was left running with the keys in the ignition.

Residential Break In

Sometime between February 17th and 18th, 2020, a residence located near the intersection of Paisley Road and Silvercreek Parkway North in the City of Guelph was entered. Numerous items were taken including passports, birth certificate, Android box, alcohol, $5,000 worth of jewellery, collector coins, clothing and jackets.

Male Arrested After Commercial Break In

On the morning of February 16th, 2020, an adult male entered a commercial unit under construction located in the downtown core of the City of Guelph, and stole approximately $3,000 worth of tools.

On February 18th, at 9:28am, police located the male in the downtown core and arrested him.

A 42 year old Guelph male has been charged with:
-Break Enter Commit Theft
-Possess Stolen Property

He will appear in court on March 27th.
