OPP seek public assist for person of interest

(TOWN OF MINTO, ON) - On February 14, 2020, at approximately 3:00 p.m. members of the Wellington County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a stolen motor vehicle from a residence on King Street in Harriston. It was reported that a 2012 Black Ford Escape was left idling unattended in a driveway when it was stolen. The vehicle was last seen traveling near Elora Street.

Approximately 20 minutes later the vehicle was located, undamaged, on the lawn of a residence on Elora Street West in Harriston.

OPP is asking for the public's assistance in identifying a person of interest that was seen in the area of John Street, Elizabeth Street and Elora Street.

The person is described as female, approximately 5'10 in height and carrying a large pink purse.
