Man, youth arrested for passing counterfeit U.S. $100 bills

(NORTH PERTH, ON) -On November 24, 2019, members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), North Perth Detachment received reports of suspected counterfeit US $100 bills being passed at two different eating establishments in Listowel the previous day.

Officers attended the scenes and seized the currency. They also viewed the surveillance footage and were able to identify the suspects.

Serina RASSMAN, 40-years-old of North Perth and a youth who cannot be identified under the provisions of the Youth Criminal Justice Act, are both charged with:

        Uttering Counterfeit Money.

Both parties were released from custody.
